About Us

Jon Orlin is the Owner and Executive Producer of Orlin Media, which started operations in the Spring of 2005.

Jon has worked in the broadcast television industry for nearly 20 years. He worked at CNN in New York and Atlanta as Producer and Executive Producer on various CNN news programs include Moneyline with Lou Dobbs, CNN Today, and Inside Politics.

Jon has also been in the streaming video industry since it's early days. In 1999, he led the production and editorial teams for Yahoo's FinanceVision, a live 8-hour a day online financial news channel. Then, he ran Yahoo Studios, the video production operation at Yahoo!

Jon lives in San Jose, California with his wife, a television producer at NBC11 in San Jose.
